Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated May 1, 2026.
GLP Insights is reader-supported. This page describes how affiliate relationships work on the site and our compliance with FTC requirements (16 CFR Part 255).
What Affiliate Links Are
An affiliate link is a tagged URL that lets a partner company track whether a visitor came from our site. When a reader clicks an affiliate link and completes a qualifying action — typically booking a telehealth consultation — we receive a commission from the partner. The reader pays the same price either way; there is no markup or upcharge for using our link.
Who Our Partners Are
Our partners are US-licensed telehealth services and accredited compounding pharmacies that offer GLP-1 medications. Specific partners change over time. Active partnerships are reflected in the CTAs across the site. We do not partner with any source that:
- Sells GLP-1 without a US-licensed prescription
- Imports unapproved medications
- Markets "research only" peptides for human use
- Operates outside FDA and state pharmacy regulations
How We Disclose
We comply with FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255):
- A visible disclosure block appears on every page that contains affiliate links, positioned before the first call-to-action.
- This dedicated disclosure page describes the financial relationship in detail.
- Every affiliate link includes
rel="nofollow sponsored noopener"in its HTML, marking it appropriately for search engines. - Our affiliate redirects use 302 (temporary) status, no link equity transfer, and X-Robots-Tag noindex headers — they are not part of our indexed content.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate revenue funds the site. It does not buy editorial coverage. Specifically:
- We do not accept payment to write favorable reviews
- We do not exclude criticism of partner brands when it is warranted
- We cover non-partner options when they are best for the reader
- We disclose limitations, risks, and contraindications honestly even when doing so reduces conversion
The honest version of editorial keeps reader trust. Reader trust keeps the site sustainable. Both align with not gaming the recommendation in favor of any single partner.
What We Don't Do
- Hide affiliate relationships behind generic "trusted partner" language
- Promote unapproved or counterfeit GLP-1 sources
- Use false urgency ("offer expires in 5 minutes"), fake reviews, or fabricated medical credentials
- Push readers toward more expensive options when cheaper safe ones exist
- Pretend we have no financial interest in your decision
Examples of Affiliate-Linked Content
Any link or button that begins with https://glp.us.org/go/ is an affiliate-tracked link. Examples include "Start My Consultation," "See Pricing," "Compare Options," and similar calls to action. Internal navigation links (to other pages on this site) and external references to FDA, NIH, NEJM, and similar authoritative sources are not affiliate links.
