Privacy Policy
Effective May 1, 2026.
This privacy policy describes how GLP Insights ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information about visitors to glp.us.org.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We do not require accounts on glp.us.org. We do not collect names, addresses, dates of birth, or any health information from visitors. If you email us, your email address and message content are stored in our mail provider's system.
Information Collected Automatically
- Server logs — Cloudflare records standard request data: IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, timestamps. Retained for limited periods for security and performance.
- Analytics cookies — If you accept analytics through our cookie banner, we may load Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET) and/or Google Analytics. These services collect anonymized usage data (pages viewed, time on page, device type). Reject and these are not loaded.
- Affiliate tracking — When you click a
/go/link, we redirect you to the partner site with a campaign identifier appended. The partner site sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
How We Use Information
- Operate and secure the site
- Understand which content readers find useful (aggregate analytics only)
- Respond to inquiries you send us
- Track affiliate-attributed conversions for partner reporting (aggregate, no PII)
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information to send marketing emails (we do not maintain a mailing list).
Third-Party Services
- Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, security)
- Bing Webmaster Tools (search performance reporting)
- Bing UET (only loaded with your consent)
- Google Search Console (search performance reporting; no on-site tag)
- Google Analytics (only loaded with your consent)
- Affiliate partner platforms (set their own cookies after you click /go/ links)
- Bunny Fonts (web font delivery; privacy-respecting Google Fonts alternative)
Each third party has its own privacy policy.
Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for details on each cookie type and how to manage them.
Your Rights (CCPA, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, and Other State Laws)
If you are a US resident, depending on your state, you may have rights including:
- The right to know what personal information we have about you
- The right to request deletion of personal information
- The right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share)
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@glp.us.org. Because we collect minimal data, most data-deletion requests are limited to removing email correspondence and analytics-anonymized records, if any.
EU/UK Visitors
This site is primarily directed at US readers. Visitors from outside the US should be aware that data is processed in the United States. If you visit from the EU or UK, processing relies on legitimate interest (for essential cookies and server logs) and consent (for analytics cookies).
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. GLP-1 medications discussed on this site are generally for adults; some have pediatric indications (Wegovy, Saxenda) that require clinical oversight.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS via Cloudflare. We follow reasonable industry practices for the very limited personal data we do receive (email correspondence). No site can guarantee perfect security.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on the page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
